Issues and Polls
As State Representative for District 19, education will continue to be a top priority. My record as a 3 year member of the Salem-Keizer school board speaks for itself - I am diligent and loyal to voters and taxpayers. I will continue to be an outspoken supporter of school employees, and a promoter of accountability, credibility and excellence.
I am a physician by training, a parent, a man of science and conscience, and a change agent for “HOPE”:
H –
Health Care Reform (hold-down costs, help kids and the working
uninsured)
O –
Open Government (openness, transparency and trust in Oregon
government)
P – Public Security (prevent crime, protect communities and patrol highways)
E –
Education excellence, Equal opportunities and Environmental
sustainability
To bring “HOPE” to my constituents, I plan to:
- hold regular town hall meetings
- have open office hours
- listen to your ideas
- help solve your problems and improve your lives
